Amazing Product!

So yesterday my little man was a little fussy (literally the first time) and we decided to give him his new pacifier. Yes he uses a pacifier. I don't think there is anything wrong with them as long as you take them away at a decent time. Not when they are 4-5. My daughter used one until she was two and then the pacifier fairy came and took it away. Plus she has no problems with her teeth.

So we gave my son his monkey pacifier and he loved it. Here is proof

This is an innovative new pacifier that combines a medical-grade silicone pacifier with a soft light stuffed toy .

It comes in many different animals like piggy, cat, rhino, lamb and many more. I like the monkey because we call our son monkey.

Quest to find the best Roach Coach food!

My family and I have been on a quest to find the best roach coach food!
Ok let me explain.

I would never eat of one of those no name trucks you see in the alley or pulling up to a warehouse.

For those of you that don't know there are a ton of trucks out there that are considered the gourmet food trucks of OC.

The most famous I would say would be Kogi. A Korean BBQ that is AMAZING! There short rib taco's are the best ever.

We decided yesterday to venture out of our comfort zone and check out another taco truck called Dos Chinos.

We found that they were going to be at the Old Court House in Santa Ana(also out of our comfort zone). So we jumped in the car and headed off for lunch.

When we got there we expected a line like we stand in when we follow the Kogi truck (sometimes over a hour wait...yes for a taco truck. It is that good). There was no one at all. It was a ghost town.

We find parking behind the truck and set off to buy our tacos

We decide on our taco's and we had heard about their amazing fries. So we ordered those also.
The first tacos we ordered are the Dos Chinos Carne Asada

The were pretty good. My daughter loves Kogi and she was not impressed. I could tell cause she ate the tortilla instead of the meat.
Then we ordered Garden Grove Short Rib (left) and the Hollywood Chicken (on the right).

The Garden Grove Tacos were horrible. The Hollywood chicken taco was amazing.
It was thai coconut curry chicken with tamarind sour cream sauce. OMG! I wanted more!
Then the Garlic Fries. I did not like them. But my husband and daughter said they were OK!

We made this a family event.

So my opinion is that we will go back to the Dos Chinos, but only for the Hollywood Chicken Tacos.

Off to the next truck.

My little peanut is 5 weeks old!

I can not believe how fast time goes. My little monkey is 5 weeks old today.
He is no longer my wrinkled up baby. He is filling in his skin perfectly.

He is such a amazing baby. I really am lucky. We call him the grunter because he is always grunting. My daughter says he is growling (that could be because she is going through a animal faze right now herself).

Since getting my new camera I have been taking pictures of all his little features

His Ear

His Hands

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking pictures of his little feet!
I do also take some face shots

But I think he has a "no picture policy" like his momma!

I really love my new camera! I know it was pricey, but well worth the investment! Who know maybe I will take up photography!

Update on me post baby....
I am still having a issue with breastfeeding. I can only get about a ounce out of the left boobie and half a oz out of the right. This means my son gets at least a couple bottles of breast milk a day. I am pumping, which I have to say is a pain the a**! I hate having to sit there for 30 minutes with my boob exposed and being violently sucked into a contraption that does not give me the results I want.

I have also been taking the Fenugreek daily. Which is supposed to help bring in the milk flow. I don't think it is working. Funny thing about the pill is it makes me smell like french toast. No really my pee, sweat, hair everything smells like syrup. My daughter smelled my arm yesterday and said "mommy you smell like syrup". My husband went into the restroom after me using it (going number 1) and he said the bathroom smells like french toast. Then later that afternoon he said your hair smells like syrup.

At least I smell yummy and not like s**t!

I love my son (and my other two kids). And enjoy being able to work from home while i take care of everyone. Even if it does get crazy around here sometimes (who am I kidding) all the time.

Welcome to my world!

I won my first giveaway!!!!

I am so excited...I won my first giveaway.

Tuesday I was in blog reading mode. I visited and started following a bunch of blogs that I really liked.

With that I noticed a bunch of giveaways and started entering for random things I liked or thought would be nice to win for my family.

Guess what I won????
Not a book, bag full of goodies...I won a Frickin Stroller.

Safety 1st AeroLite LX Deluxe Stroller (Value $150.00)

Even though we already own a stroller for our little peanut, if I remember correctly my daughter had 4 strollers throughout her stroller life. So I am sure this one will come in handy.

I think I will start doing giveaways on my blog as it was fun to enter and I am sure we can find some great products from our store littlepeanutboutique.com (shameless plug)!

CuPCaKe OvErLoAd!

Sunday my family and I (I think I was the most excited) decided we were going to attend the Cupcake Camp OC event in Irvine.

At the last minute my daughter decided to go swimming at her friends house so I thought ok maybe we won't go and catch up on our sleep! No Way! I can never turn down a good cupcake! So my husband and I decided to go without my daughter (even though I knew she would be mad).

So we set off and got there before the event started at 3pm and first there was NO parking at the hotel. Then the line to get into the event was huge. Lucky for us when you had a stroller you had to take the elevator instead of the stairs like the majority of people and we managed to get in right away and had to stand in no line.

You paid $10 to get in(went to a good charity) and got three raffle tickets that got you gourmet cupcakes and then you could have unlimited amateur cupcakes.

This place was packed! We should not have brought the stroller! Even though it got us to the front of the line!

Here are some images of some amazing cupcakes...

YES YOU ARE READING THAT RIGHT...CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!

The cupcake displays were great

Even my husband was getting into it

Then we found the cupcake of all cupcakes. I mean this was the best cupcake I have ever tasted. Made by a company called My Delight Cup Cakery. It is called the breakfast cucpake.

Yes that is bacon on this cupcake. Read the ingredients. This was the best. My husband was nice enough to share...

One of my favorites was a cupcake made by a amateur. It was a peanut butter and jelly cupcake. It had strawberry jelly inside the cupcake when you bit into it. OMG!!

We had a good time. it was very crowded and next year should be at a bigger venue and they surely got the crowd. People came in with Tupperware to take home their cupcakes. We were not prepared.

But I can never turn down the opportunity to sample cupcakes!

Saturday Night with the Family!

Saturday morning we woke up and were very excited to being going to a Cupcake Camp OC event(more info to come). Till I realized that the event was not Saturday but actually Sunday. My brain just does not work right lately.

So my husband and I were sitting at the dinning room table eating breakfast when we decided we were going to go to San Diego for the day. After looking up the city and seeing what there was to do besides the zoo and sea world, we decided that it was not the best place to take the kids for the day and they they would be bored.

So after awhile we decided to take my daughter and my nephew to the Santa Monica Pier

But first we had to make a pit stop at grandma and grandpa since they live out that way and have dinner together so they can see their grand babies.

Then we headed off for a fun night (for the kids that is)...

The kids got on the rides right away and were having a blast...

My daughter had such a good time!

Then she saw this stuffed toy she has been wanting since we went to the Orange County Fair.
So she enlisted her father to win her and her cousin a Domo doll.

I am pleased to say it only required two plays and $6.00. Good Job babe!
toward the end of the night everyone was getting tired...

The funnest thing was when my son showed my husband how he felt about being there and not being able to ride any of the rides.

CLASSIC!

All in all we had a great time!

Date Night!

This Friday my husband was in a amazing mood! He normally is always in a good mood but today was unlike any other.

First he called me at his lunch break and said he was buying us this high tech camera that I have been wanting for a long time. I call it the paparazzi camera as it is not a digital camera but one that is used by the paparazzi when they get your favorite celebrity shot. I told him not to as it was very expensive but he did it anyway.

Then a couple hours later he called to say that he wanted to take me on a date night tonight and to see if my mom could watch my daughter and the baby. Of course my mother jumped on the opportunity to watch the kids.

My husband came home and we got ready to head off on our date night to the Melting Pot.

We have never been there before and we were very excited as we had heard great things. We just honestly could never get up the urge to spend over $100 on dinner for the two of us.

We got there and had the most amazing dinner...

We had great conversation and great food. And I have to say was well worth the $100 for great food and a great night with my husband.

With that being said we could have gone out after but just could not wait to get back to our little ones.

Thanks Honey for a Great Night!
