HELLO PEEPS! Long time no post!

Hello Peep,

It has been a very long time since I have posted on this blog.
My life has been CRAZY!
But a couple weeks ago someone mentioned to me how she loved my Flip Off Fridays. So I thought what the hell lets start it up again. So here goes....

1.A big flip off to myself first for not doing the white laundry and my daughter today had to go to school with mismatched colored socks (she did wear boots so you could not see them).

2.Flip off to my hair that since I cut 10 inches off is very angry at me and won't do what I tell it too.

3. To Christmas Shopping.... My family(especially you sister in laws) are the hardest to shop for.

4. To my gym bill that keeps coming in...but I don't return the visit because I am just to busy and lets be honest LAZY!

5. Another flip off to me today for forgetting my daughters treat (pretzel sticks) for her class project! I did end up taking them to her (before you start calling me a bad mom).

What are your flip offs for the week!

My littlest peanut!

My little guy is going to be three months old on Sunday and this past weekend we took him in for his 3 mth pictures. As I am framing and putting them up this morning I am thinking about how much things have changed in three months.

He has grown by leaps and bounds and is no longer my lil guy but my big strong guy now.
He is so interactive now versus just laying there like a bump
on a log.
His personality is amazing...Can you tell from this photo!

He looks more and more like my husband. Which is great as my daughter looks nothing like either of us and I think if we would have had another child like that my husband would have started to wonder!!!

With all that being said this only means that time is going so fast. I mean people are starting to christmas shop. The store have already started putting our christmas supplies. We have not even passed Halloween!

I wish I could say that I was going to treasure the time more now that I am realizing how fast it goes but i would be lying.

With three kids, a husband, a house and two growing businesses my time is valuable and accounted for every second. My calendar is full from now till the beginning of next year. Wish I could be one of those people that live day by day. And just go with the flow. Maybe someday when my kids are off taking care of their own families and my husband and I are living (not vacationing) somewhere tropical!

Maybe I should pencil that into my calender for somewhere in 2030!

Welcome to my world!

Flip Off Friday

Flip off Friday again!

1. The first flip off this week is to myself. Why you ask because this week I did the unthinkable....I locked my new baby in the car!!!!!!!!! So before you throw stone and call child protective services on me , let me explain.
I was getting out of the car and I reached back and opened the back door to go around and get my son out. I hit the lock button on my door and walked to take my son out. Well my daughter who was in the passenger front seat jumped out and came running around the car into the street with a car coming. When I saw this my first reaction was to grab her so when I went for her I hit the door, which closed with my keys on the seat. OMG!!!!!! So I started hysterically crying and lucky my neighbors all helped including a passerby-er that has kids that go to the same school as my daughter stopped and helped. We got him out and he was fine (a little sweaty). Slept the whole time. In total i think he was in there for less then 10 minutes. But is was the longest time ever for me. I beat myself up about it all night till friends started telling me that this has happened to them many times. Now i feel like less of a bad mom.

2. The amount of hours in a day. I drop my daughter off at about 8am on the dot and I am home by 8:10 the latest. By the time I have a light breakfast, shower and read emails it is 12pm and my daughter is out at 1:50. Why can't the school day be longer.

3. The parents at my daughters school who think it is ok to block you in your parking spot. I make it a point to leave to pick up my daughter by 1:30 so that I am there right when she gets out. Which means that I can always get a parking spot. if you show up after 1:40 forget getting a spot that is not around the corner. So parents who decide to arrive at 1:49 when the kids get out pull up and double park. Then they decide they can chit chat with each other while I am stock in the spot. Next time I will think about hitting your car.

That is my Friday Flip off. What are yours?

Welcome to my world!

I'M BACK!!!!!

OMG it has been to long since I blogged. I think I might be going through blogger withdraw.

It has just been a crazy last couple days. My labor day weekend was just jam packed with stuff to do. I mean the days just flew by.

I have been really busy with work these past couple weeks with the launch of a new jewelry line for kids. I am very excited about it but is has been very difficult to get things perfect.

This past weekend we did alot for the new company we are starting including a photo shoot which did not turn out how I would want it.

But on a different note....

Today was the first day of school!
I am so excited I mean my daughter is so excited. :)
We started off the day great and I just picked her up and she said she liked school alot and loves the first grade. So keep my fingers crossed that does not change.

I look forward to many more school days and I am happy to say goodbye to summer.

Friday Flip Off!!!

So I just learned about this amazing thing in the blog world called
Flip Off Friday!
This is when you list things that have happened that just require the amazing middle finger.

Yes that is my little monkey giving the camera his middle finger.

1* The cat that thinks it is fun to shit in my front yard!
My next door neighbors cat Tiger thinks that my front yard is his personal litter box. I think it is unfair that dog owners when they take their dogs out are required by law to pick up after their dogs. But cat owners who let their cats run around the neighborhood have no responsibilities. Nothing is worse then having to pick up after someones nasty cat (I do not like cats!). I promise the next time I catch him I will squirt him with my hose!

2* My stuffy nose!
Every night my nose decides that it would like to be stuffed with boogers. My inability to breathe causes me to not be able to sleep between night feedings for my son. Which also means my husband has to hear me blow the horn(what it sounds like when I blow my nose). Which has even startled my son awake also. Which means no sleep -bitchy mom!

3* Nasty Lady a the 99cents store!
Yesterday my son and I ran into 99 cents store for a hairbrush for my daughter since she thought it would be fun to use it outside to do god knows what with her friends. My son and I get in line where a lady and her husband are almost finished being rung up. Then decide that they forgot something. Run back and get it come up to the register and ask "How much it is" are you f**king kidding me. We are at the 99cents store! Then she lets the checker finish ringing up her products and once told the total proceeds to look in her bag to see how she could have possibly spent so much. At this point I am getting annoyed because i just need to pay for my brush. Then once she is done she hands the checker the money and then wants to take back the money and use some of her spare change! I am about ready to lose it. FINALLY when she hands over the money and I go up to give my brush to the checker she decided she would like to clean out her receipts from her purse in the cashier aisle so I can't move forward to pay. I gave her the dirtiest look and she realized she better hurry the hell up and moved to the side. So my flip off is to all the people who hold up cashier lanes, forget items and expect to hold up the line, pay with change, and just all in all are a pain in the ASS!!!!

4* The Heat
All the sudden California was hit with a heat wave. Yesterday was so hot. I feel the next couple months are going to be hell since we had a late start to warm weather this summer. I hate the heat.

5* My husbands fascination with giving the city money!
As I am sitting here getting ready to pay my husbands third traffic ticket in 6 mths. Yes third in six months. I realize we have given over $700 to the city for all the traffic infractions my husband has made. He is known to have a little bit of road rage and yes I hold onto the handle when he drives. But he just has amazing bad luck when it comes to cops and tickets lately!

My little peanut is 5 weeks old!

I can not believe how fast time goes. My little monkey is 5 weeks old today.
He is no longer my wrinkled up baby. He is filling in his skin perfectly.

He is such a amazing baby. I really am lucky. We call him the grunter because he is always grunting. My daughter says he is growling (that could be because she is going through a animal faze right now herself).

Since getting my new camera I have been taking pictures of all his little features

His Ear

His Hands

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking pictures of his little feet!
I do also take some face shots

But I think he has a "no picture policy" like his momma!

I really love my new camera! I know it was pricey, but well worth the investment! Who know maybe I will take up photography!

Update on me post baby....
I am still having a issue with breastfeeding. I can only get about a ounce out of the left boobie and half a oz out of the right. This means my son gets at least a couple bottles of breast milk a day. I am pumping, which I have to say is a pain the a**! I hate having to sit there for 30 minutes with my boob exposed and being violently sucked into a contraption that does not give me the results I want.

I have also been taking the Fenugreek daily. Which is supposed to help bring in the milk flow. I don't think it is working. Funny thing about the pill is it makes me smell like french toast. No really my pee, sweat, hair everything smells like syrup. My daughter smelled my arm yesterday and said "mommy you smell like syrup". My husband went into the restroom after me using it (going number 1) and he said the bathroom smells like french toast. Then later that afternoon he said your hair smells like syrup.

At least I smell yummy and not like s**t!

I love my son (and my other two kids). And enjoy being able to work from home while i take care of everyone. Even if it does get crazy around here sometimes (who am I kidding) all the time.

Welcome to my world!

I won my first giveaway!!!!

I am so excited...I won my first giveaway.

Tuesday I was in blog reading mode. I visited and started following a bunch of blogs that I really liked.

With that I noticed a bunch of giveaways and started entering for random things I liked or thought would be nice to win for my family.

Guess what I won????
Not a book, bag full of goodies...I won a Frickin Stroller.

Safety 1st AeroLite LX Deluxe Stroller (Value $150.00)

Even though we already own a stroller for our little peanut, if I remember correctly my daughter had 4 strollers throughout her stroller life. So I am sure this one will come in handy.

I think I will start doing giveaways on my blog as it was fun to enter and I am sure we can find some great products from our store littlepeanutboutique.com (shameless plug)!

Date Night!

This Friday my husband was in a amazing mood! He normally is always in a good mood but today was unlike any other.

First he called me at his lunch break and said he was buying us this high tech camera that I have been wanting for a long time. I call it the paparazzi camera as it is not a digital camera but one that is used by the paparazzi when they get your favorite celebrity shot. I told him not to as it was very expensive but he did it anyway.

Then a couple hours later he called to say that he wanted to take me on a date night tonight and to see if my mom could watch my daughter and the baby. Of course my mother jumped on the opportunity to watch the kids.

My husband came home and we got ready to head off on our date night to the Melting Pot.

We have never been there before and we were very excited as we had heard great things. We just honestly could never get up the urge to spend over $100 on dinner for the two of us.

We got there and had the most amazing dinner...

We had great conversation and great food. And I have to say was well worth the $100 for great food and a great night with my husband.

With that being said we could have gone out after but just could not wait to get back to our little ones.

Thanks Honey for a Great Night!

My two adorable children!

My daughter Emma has been alot of help for me with the baby. She will throw away a diaper, give him his pacifier, get his bottle, hold him, kiss and cuddle him and even help put him to sleep...

But there is no guarantee that she won't fall asleep herself after a long day of helping her mom.

God I love my kids.

Feeling Spoiled!

So these past 12 days I have felt really lucky and a little spoiled.

Not only did I have my little boy 12 days ago...

But I also got to have my husband home with me for two weeks....
He decided that he was going to stay home for two weeks when the baby was born. Now he is on vacation from work but has taken another job for the two weeks. MR MOM!!!! He not only has been a hands on dad for the new baby and my daughter (who is connected to him by the hip when he is home) but has cooked, cleaned and does the laundry!!! Yes I said does the laundry!

Monday he will head back off to work and I have to say I am not looking forward to it one bit.

The funny thing is that even though we are home together we have not spent any together time (I don't mean sex dirty people. I know we have to wait the six weeks). I mean these past 12 days have been so busy that even a hug and a kiss seems like a lifetime ago.
*Babe if you are reading this then I need some TLC! Also in case I have not told you recently....You are the best husband and father and wife or child could ask for! Thank you for being supportive during these crazy couple days when I have cried and even when I have yelled. SORRY*

Love you

My No Stess Weekend and Daughters First SleepOver!

Have you ever had one of those weekends were you and your family have nothing to do. No birthday parties, crazy home improvements, etc. That you can just sit back and watch all the TiVo you want for hours on end!

That was this weekend for me and my family.

I have really been trying to take it easy lately as I am getting closer to my scheduled c-section/due date (three weeks from today). This is so much easier for me to say then to actually do as I am just one of those people that needs to have 110 things going at one time.

Saturday night my mom and dad did come over for dinner and family movie night. I found this amazing BBQ Beef Sandwich recipe that is made with root beer. Everyone loved it. During dinner we started talking politics which got a little carried away, but once everybody voiced their opinion we all moved on to movie night and dessert. We watched Extraordinary Measures ( a true story about a father who tries to find a cure for a rare disease his children have). It was a good movie.

Sunday my family woke up and I made breakfast. One of our family friends called and asked if my son and daughter could come over and go swimming. So I said yes because my husband was going to be tied up watching the one game he has been waiting for during the World Cup (Mexico vs Argentina). And I wanted him to be able to watch it uninterrupted. So off they went.

A couple hours later my daughter called and asked if she could sleepover at her friends house. My immediate reaction was "NO WAY" not my six year old little girl. I told her to let me think about it and I would call her back. MY husband and I discussed it and we both said we have to give in and let her have fun not put her in a bubble. So we called her back and told her yes. The screaming on the phone was obnoxious! She was so thrilled.

So my husband and I settled in for the night. We had dinner alone which was weird as that has not happened in a long time. I made chicken and potatoes in my favorite kitchen appliance the slow cooker. It was amazing. And then we watched Remember Me with Robert Pattinson. Which started out slow but the ending was a shocker. All in all good.

Then finished off the night with our favorite show "True Blood". Got to love us some adult vampires.

After watching the show I got this urge to go pick up my little girl as I wanted to tuck her in and give her a kiss goodnight! But I held strong and did not call or drive over there. I decided the best way to help me forget is to go to bed. Also my daughter was going to get dropped off at 7am.

This morning when she got home I gave her the biggest hug and I think she grew a little bigger since I saw her yesterday.

Second Day Of Summer!

So today was a much better summer day for my daughter.

Her little cousin was here all day and have been outside playing for HOURS! I of course still have to check in and make sure they are doing good.

Lucky that my front yard has a big play yard (slide, tubes, etc) that is fenced in so they can't go near the street. This has kept them busy all day.

It is amazing to listen to the things they will make up to play. Their imagination is great. I remember when I was that little!

This morning they made paper shoes and cards and tried selling them on our street. That did not work. They lowered their prices. Still no takers.

So I thought ok we have a ton of candy from the baby shower (we had a candy bar) that we in our house do not need to eat. So I just finished letting them set up a candy shop outside to sell.

My daughter the business woman like her mommy!

They want to make enough money to go have ice cream after dinner. I will keep everyone posted as to how much they make. Fingers crossed!!!

Offically Summer Break!

So today marked the first day of summer break for my daughter and son.

My son is 16 years old and has his own plans, friends, "girlfriends", etc. So as summer break approached for him I was not so concerned. Although I did want him to go out and get a job. Which is of no interest to him at 16. But if he want a car on his 17th birthday he better get out and join the work force.

My daughter was the main concern for me. I am quickly approaching my due date and get more irritable and tired daily. I knew that trips to Disneyland and Knotts where not a option for me. Which sucks for her because she does not understand how tired I get just walking around for 10 minutes.

With my whole baby scare last week my doctor has kinda put me on home bed rest till he is back in town on July 5th. So our first day of summer break I wake my daughter up and tell her mommy has a appointment for the baby so we have to go to the hospital. Instead of giving me a hard time she eats her cereal and gets herself dressed and ready. I was concerned she would be bored sitting in the room for 30 minutes while they monitor the baby and then a quick fluid ultrasound. I was so amazed at how well she did. She brought her little penguin and her DS and was a happy girl.

After leaving the hospital we make a quick stop at Target. I get her a Icee and she did really well at the store (did not ask to buy anything, or complain about how long it was taking). We finally get home and I make her some lunch. After lunch she plays in her room a little bit and then comes out and says she is bored. Now we do not have kids her age in the neighborhood. So it's not like she can go outside and play with her friends. This makes me start to wonder what the heck the next two in a half months are going to be like for her and I. Any suggestions??????

Welcome to my world!

Update on 34 weeks visit!!!!

So I drop my daughter off at school and head off to the Dr's (by myself). I get there and find out while sitting in the waiting room that my DR is going ofd on a medical mission and is leaving tomorrow. I think Ok no big deal my actual due date if I make my scheduled c-section is July 19th and he will be back on July 5th.

So they call my name and I go with my favorite nurse ever and she takes me to weigh in. So last visit 4 weeks ago I had lost 4 pounds. This time I gained 3 pounds. Ok no big deal. I go in and pee and meet her in room 3.

The minute I walked in I saw on the table a gown and then on the counter a swab (like for your yearly exam). So of course I started to panic. I asked what they were going to do today and she said the Group B Strep Test. Normal at 34 weeks. So I get up on the table and she proceeds to say that my urine looks good and that she will take my blood pressure. As she is taking my blood pressure the look on her face shows signs of worry. She takes off the cuff and moves to the other arm. She finishes and say that my blood pressure is very high.

She asks me to get undressed and lay on my left side and she will leave the blood pressure cuff for the Dr to retake it when he comes in.

I start to get undressed and can feel the stress. I lay on my left side and stare out the window thinking about almost to the day my daughter was born at the same time (34 weeks and two days / I am 34 weeks and 3 days). I hear the knock on the door and my heart skips and beat. He comes in and says that my blood pressure is very high and that is causing him some concern (deja vu- I heard the same with my daughter). He gets out the little machine that lets him hear the baby's heartbeat. Now on Monday the baby was laying left to right in my belly. I tell him this and he starts to look for the heart beat. I am looking up at him and I start to see worry on his face because he can't find the little peanut. Finally after more time then it should take he finds the baby is breech and the heart beat is going at a pace I can tell is not good. He proceeds to listen and I ask "Are you sure that is not my heartbeat?" He grabs my wrist and listens to the machine and my heart. He again gets that look. He turn the machine off and says I am concerned and that he is sending me STAT for labs and Fetal stress tests. He tells me that he is leaving tomorrow for two weeks and that he needs to decide what we are going to do? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I say and he said delivery or 5 weeks of bed rest in the hospital. OMFG!!!!!!!!!

Off I go with tears in my eyes as all this bad news did not help with my stress and call my husband. My husband calms me down and asks if he should come to the fetal stress test. I tell him no but I will call him when I am done. I go to the stress test place and the very nice nurse gets me to the room and starts asking alot of questions. How far along, past childbirths, etc. After answering 20 questions she starts to try and locate the baby. She has the hardest time even though I guide her to where the DR found him. No luck. She finally finds him and says I will be back in 10 minutes to check on you. After she leaves and I am laying in the bed my head starts spinning, I feel like I am going to hurl all over the place and I get very dizzy and blurred vision. I realize I should not but I sit up and feel better right away. I see the monitor loses the babies heartbeat and the nurses who can see the monitor out in the lobby all come running. They say what are your doing? (because I am sitting up). I explain how I started feeling and they say OK no problem (they are the best nurses ever / if only I could get that when I deliver) they set me up again but this time on my side which works and I give them 20-30 minutes of a good fetal heart rate and movement. Then they want to do a amniotic fluid check (aka ultrasound). I get in and the nurse lathers me up with the famous goop and proceed to scan how much fluid the baby has. She tells me "this baby is not breech. He is head down." she shows me that he is ready to make his entrance. After the ultrasound she tells me they will send the results to my Dr by lunch and he should give me a call. OK so that wait game begins. I then head to the blood lab to get my blood drawn. That went as wells as possible for someone who is terrified of needles.
I ask how soon the STAT results will get tot the DR and she said by days end. So that was at 12pm.

I head home hungry, scared, nervous, anxious, etc. Call my husband and tell him I will call him when I hear anything.

I get home and eat some cereal and then head off to pick up my daughter.

I get a call from the Dr's office at about 2:30pm and the nurse says that DR wants me back in his office tomorrow at 8:15 (they don't even open till 9am) to recheck and talk about our options. I ask if they got the results back and she said the blood work yes (and that I was severely anemic and my calcium was very low)I say OK I will be there.

Oh and by the way he did do the Va Ja Ja strep test which was very uncomfortable.

Here I sit now packing my hospital bag, getting his stuff ready and blogging! Still nervous, more worried then ever. Am I ready for him. I kept saying I was over being pregnant but I take it back!

So tomorrow we will find out if we are getting a early fathers day present or I am on bed rest for at least the next two - five weeks. At this point I feel my body and him in it is doing him more harm the help so I have no problems if they say they want to take him out. That and I know I could never do 2 weeks in the hospital let alone 5 weeks.

Keep you posted!

Welcome to my world!
